المستخلص: Ethics is one of the most important decisive factors in the goodness of groups and the progress of nations, if these morals are good morals and depend on sound foundations and standards, but if these morals are characterized by evil and are based on corrupt foundations, then they undoubtedly lead to the disintegration of society and the corruption of its condition. Plato is considered one of the great Greek philosophers immortalized in history, in addition to Socrates and Aristotle. His philosophical output varied to include most areas of knowledge. He was the first to develop a consistent philosophical doctrine in all branches of philosophy, including metaphysics, natural sciences, politics, ethics, etc. In this research, we deal with his ethical side, because it is closely related to the other topics of his philosophy, where we find the connection of this topic with the human soul and its divisions, and its connection also with the divine side in his philosophy. This research was divided into several sections, namely: the first topic entitled the science of ethics and its subject, the second topic on Plato's moral theory and its connection to his theory of ideals, the third topic on the nature of the soul and its divisions at Plato, the fourth topic on virtue according to Plato, and the fifth topic on the ultimate or supreme good. Then the conclusion, and finally the list of sources and references.
