المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة النحت في العربية المعاصرة من حيث المبررات والآليات والواقع الاستعمالي؛ كونه لا يزال فاعلا فيها من ناحيتي التجدد والاستعمال، وله روافده الآلية، ومبررات استمراره، وثمة مجالات مختلفة أظهرت حاجتها إليه. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي بآليته التحليلية. وقد توصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها: -دخلت المنحوتات ذات الأصول الغربية إلى تراكيب العربية ببعديها النحوي والصرفي، وتمثل البعد النحوي بدمج المنحوتات إسناديا؛ فأخذت وظائف نحوية مختلفة، وإن لم تكن مطلقة، وظهر في هذا البعد إهمال العلامات الإعرابية والتزام الرتبة؛ لأسباب مختلفة. وتمثل البعد الصرفي بقضايا بنية هذه المختصرات من حيث طول بعضها، وتنافر حروفها، وتناول وسائل صرفية لاستيعاب هذه المختصرات. - يشكل نحت الكلمات في العربية المعاصرة ظاهرة لغوية لا ينبغي إهمالها، وعامل إثراء للمعجم اللغوي بآليات ذاتية وخارجية. وقد جاءت بعض المنحوتات على أبنية النحت التراثية، وبعضها الآخر غير موافقة لأبنية العربية، ولا للذائقة العربية في بناء الألفاظ ومخارجها. -دخل النحت في العربية المعاصرة مجالات كثيرة، كان أهمها المجال العلمي؛ نظرا لتدفق المعارف والعلوم بمصطلحاتها التي منها مصطلحات منحوتة أو استقرت بعد ترجمتها إلى العربية ألفاظا منحوتة.

This research aims to study sculpture in contemporary Arabic in terms of its justifications, mechanisms, and practical use, as it remains an active part of it in terms of renewal and use, and has its own mechanisms and justifications for its continued use, and there are various areas that have shown a need for it. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted the descriptive method with its analytical mechanism. Thus, the study has reached several results, the most important of which are: - Western-origin sculptures have entered Arabic structures in both their grammatical and morphological dimensions, and the grammatical dimension is represented by integrating the sculptures structurally, taking on different grammatical functions, even if not absolute, and in this dimension, neglecting the inflectional marks and adhering to order appeared for different reasons. The morphological dimension is represented by issues related to the structure of these abbreviations, in terms of their length, conflicting letters, and the use of morphological means to accommodate these abbreviations. - Sculpting words in contemporary Arabic is a linguistic phenomenon that should not be neglected, and is a factor in enriching the linguistic lexicon with both internal and external mechanisms. Some sculptures have been applied to traditional sculpture structures, while others are not in agreement with the Arabic structure, nor with the Arabic taste in constructing words and their pronunciation. - Sculpture has entered many fields in contemporary Arabic, most notably the scientific field, due to the flow of knowledge and sciences with their terms, some of which are sculpted or settled after being translated into Arabic as sculpted words.
