المستخلص: جاء في ثلاثة مباحث: الأول في معناه في الأصل وأنواعه واستعمالاته، والثاني ما يتعلق بحكم وضعه على الرأس وبناء المسألة وتخريجها، والثالث ما يتعلق بوضعه على الرأس من آثار فقهية في العبادات كالوضوء والغسل والصلاة والجنائز والحج والعمرة والبيع والإجارة وفي أحكام النظر وإبداءه للأجانب وللخاطب. وبينت الأصل في لفظة: "الإكستنشن" وأنها كلمة أعجمية وتعني الاستطالة والتمدد واستعملت في الشعر الطويل- سواء أكان طبيعيا أم صناعيا – الذي يوضع في الرأس بلصوق ونحوها بشكل دائم لفترة طويلة أو متوسطة أو قصيرة، ثم ذكرت تخريج المسألة على الوصل وأقسام الوصل وتوسعت في علة الوصل. وختم البحث بخاتمة ذكرت فيها ما توصلت إليه من النتائج.

The research will be conducted in three stages, The first stage being it's original meaning, it's types and it's uses The second stage is related to the ruling of using it on one's hair building a case for this issue and the extractions of rulings regarding the matter. The third stage is related to the jurisprudential effects it will have in acts of worship like ablution, bathing, the prayers, funerals, the pilgrimages of Hajj and Umrah, the matters of buying and selling, the rulings of looking upon it or the person wearing the extensions for those not related to you and when looking for a suitor for marriage . I explain the origin of the word: "extension" and that it is a foreign word that means elongation and expansion, and that it is used for long hair – whether it is natural or artificial that is placed on the hair on the head with an adhesive substance and the like there of permanently for a long, medium or short period of time. Then I mentioned the extraction method of the matter used for the hair connections and the sections of the hair connections and expanded on the reason for the hair connections. The research was finalised with a conclusion in which I mention all my findings.
