|b This paper explores the qualitative Observation research method in social research and aims to provide a general understanding of the qualitative Observation as well as specific steps for its implementation. Although a number of social research scholars continuously discuss the importance of qualitative observation but, this research method still needs more attention as compared to other methods, especially with regard to the executive steps for conducting it. This paper discusses qualitative observation by focusing on its definition, types, and importance, in addition to exposure to the steps of designing research based on qualitative observation, It ends with a review of the ethical considerations of observation, and its most important advantages and disadvantages.
