|a أهتم أئمة آل البيت (عليهم السلام) بإعداد نخب علمية ودينية ونشرهم في مختلف أنحاء الأرض لنشر التشيع والحفاظ على هذا الخط وليكونوا رادعين للمشاكل الدينية المختلفة التي تحصل ضد التشيع وليكونوا الواسطة بينهم وبين أتباعهم من الشيعة الاثني عشرية منعا من وصول أيدي السلطة العباسية الحاكمة لهذه الفئة وأبادتهم، وكان على بن مهزيار أحد أعضاء هذه النخبة التي وجهت إلى منطقته الأهواز.
