المستخلص: تعد السياحة من أهم صناعات العصر الحديث التي تسهم بنصيب وافر في تطوير اقتصاديات الدول باعتبارها قاطرة التنمية الاقتصادية، كما تشكل السياحة سوقا اقتصادية قابلة للتوسع عن طريق زيادة المنتج السياحي المعروض. وتمثل محافظة أسوان أهم الأقاليم السياحية في مصر – خاصة خلال موسم الشتاء-لما تتمتع به من ظروف مناخية ونباتية متميزة خلال ذلك الموسم، أضافة إلى توفر المقومات البشرية للسياحة مثل المناطق الأثرية التي تنتمي إلى عصور مختلفة، والمقابر، والبنية الأساسية متمثلة في الفنادق والسفن العائمة وطرق النقل والاتصالات ...وغيرها مما يجعلها من المناطق التي تفيض بجل معطيات تنمية الجذب السياحي. هن هنا جاء اختيار الباحث للبحث موضعا وموضوعا. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل النشاط السياحي في محافظة اسوان في ضوء التعرض لدراسة النقاط التالية: - أولا: المقومات السياحية الطبيعية والبشرية في محافظة أسوان والتي تجعل منها منطقة ذات جذب سياحي هام. ثانيا: التوزيع الجغرافي للتجهيزات والخدمات السياحية. ثالثا: دراسة وتحليل حركة السياحة وتدفقها إلى محافظة اسوان. رابعا: مجالات التنمية السياحية بالمحافظة. خامسا: الوقوف على أهم المشكلات التي تعوق التنمية السياحية مع محاولة طرح الحلول المناسبة لها. سادسا: مستقبل التنمية السياحية في المحافظة وتحديد أهم المحاور التي يمكن أن تتجه إليها التنمية السياحية. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على عدد من المصادر اهمها: - ١ -مجموعة من خرائط المحافظة ذات المقاييس المختلفة ١: 100000، 25000، 5000 والصور الجوية ١: 13000، 35000 ،1: 6500 وأفادت في التعرف على مورفولوجية المنطقة ومعالمها المختلفة. ٢-الدراسة الميدانية التي قام بها الباحث بالمحافظة للوقوف على أهم المنشآت السياحية، فضلا عن ض المعلومات التي استقاها الباحث من السياح عن طريق نماذج الاستبيان. ٣. البيانات الاحصائية للحركة السياحية والمشروعات السياحية التي تصدرها إدارة السياحة بمحافظة أسوان في شكل كتيب سنوي خلال الفترة من 1990-2005. ٤. البيانات المناخية الخاصة بمحافظة أسوان (محطة أرصاد أسوان) من الهيئة العامة للأرصاد الجوية. وقد انتهج البحث " المنهج الإقليمي الموضوعي" وهو مزيج من المنهجين الموضوعي The Topical Approach والإقليمي The Regional Approach والذي يتناول موضوع معين (السياحة) في إقليم جغرافي معين (محافظة أسوان) وقد تم إخضاع البيانات لمعايير الثقة الإحصائية المتعارف عليها من خلال عدد من الاساليب الكمية والتي أهمها معادلة اوليفر Oliver للتعرف على مدى ملائمة مناخ المنطقة لراحة جسم الإنسان. وأخيرا يأمل الباحث أن تكون هذه الدراسة إضافة حقيقية متواضعة للجهود العلمية السابقة في هذا المجال وأن تكون تحت نظر المسئولين عن التخطيط والتنمية السياحية في أسوان.

Tourism is condidered one of the most important industries in the Modern Age in the sense that it tremendously contributes to the nations' economic development. Furthermore, it represents an economic market capable of expansion through increasing the available tourist products. Taking this into consideration, Aswan is one of the most vital tourist regions in egypt, particularly in winter due to the distinguished climate and plant conditions it enjoys during that season in addition to the fluent human resources necessary for tourism such as the archaeological and monumental areas belonging to different eras, tombs, as well as the basic structures including hotels, floating cruises, transportation facilities and communication channels, etc. It is on the account that the area teams with all the potentials fumdamental for tourist attraction that the researcher has chosen Aswan both as a location and as a topic of the research. The research aims at analyzing the tourist activities in Aswan Governorate in the light of the following issues: First: The natural and human potential in Aswan Governorate that make of Aswan an area of an important tourist attraction. Second: Geographical distribution of tourist preparations, facilities and services. Third: Studying and analyzing the movement and overflow of tourism in Aswan Governorate. Fourth: The fields of tourist development in the Governorate. Fifth: Determining the most critical problems that hinder economic development in an attempt to suggest the proper and right solutions for them. Sixth: The future of tourist development in the Governorate and determining the most important dimensions towards which the tourist development can direct itself. The research has relied heavily on several references chief among which are: 1 - A group of maps for the Governorate at diverse measures: 1: 100000 / 1: 25000 / 1: 5000 as well as avian shots through planes: 1: 13000 / 1: 35000 / 1: 6500. these have been of great benefit for recognizing the geomorphological nature and features of the region. 2 - The field study conducted by the researcher in the Governorate with a view to recognizing the most vital tourist establishments in addition to the data obtained from tourists through questionnaires. 3 - The statistical data on the tourist movement and overflow and the tourist projects issued by the Tourist Authority in Aswan Governorate in rthe form of an annual booklet from 1990 until 2005. 4 - The Climate data peculiar to Aswan Governorate (Aswan Observatory) issued by The General Forecast Authority. The research has followed the Objective Regional Approch which is a mixture of the Objective and the Regional Approaches. This approach handles tourism in a certain region (Aswan Governorate). The data have been subjected to the statistical confidence criteria acknowledged by some of the quantitative methods chief among which is the Oliver Formula for recognizing to what extent the climate of the region is suitable and appropriate for human comfort. In conclusion, the researcher hopes that the present study would be a real contribution to the previous academic and scientific efforts in this field and would be considered by the concerned officials responsible for tourist planning and development in Aswan.
