المستخلص: تهدف الدراسة إلى تقديم أدلة موضوعية خصائص حوكمة الشركات في قطاع التأمين في جمهورية مصر العربية وتأثيرها على قيمة هذا النوع من الشركات، أعتمد الباحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي باستخدام عينة من مكونة من ثلاث شركات تأمين (مصر للتأمين، الدلتا للتأمين، المهندس للتأمين) في جمهورية مصر العربية وخلال الفترة من ٢٠١١ -٢٠٢٠ وبتحليل (التقارير المالية السنوية وتقارير مجلس الإدارة والحوكمة) واستخلاص نتائج الدراسة التطبيقية واختبار الفرضيات باستخدام (SPSS). أثبتت نتائج الدراسة التطبيقية الاتي: يوجد تأثير ذو دلالة إحصائية لخصائص حوكمة الشركات على قيمة الشركة في شركات قطاع التأمين في جمهورية مصر العربية محل الدراسة" ومن المتوقع أن تساهم هذه النتائج في تعزيز الفهم العام لهذا المجال وتوجيه السياسات والممارسات المستقبلية للقطاع التأميني في مصر، مما سيكون له أثره الإيجابي على مثل هذه السياسات والممارسات. وكذلك إضافة قيمة في مجال حوكمة الشركات وقطاع التامين. كما أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تشجيع العمل بمبادئ حوكمة في شركات التأمين لأنها تعتبر أهم مكونات نظام الدفاع عن سلامة القطاع التأمينى من خلال محاربة تضارب المصالح. مع ضرورة وضوح الأهداف والاستراتيجيات التأمينية ووضع معايير واضحة لتنفيذها مما يزيد من قيمة وأداء شركات قطاع التأمين.

The study aims to provide objective evidence on the characteristics of corporate governance in the insurance sector in the Arab Republic of Egypt and its impact on the value of this type of company. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method by using a sample of three insurance companies (Misr Insurance, Delta Insurance, and Al-Mohandis Insurance) in the Arab Republic of Egypt during the period from 2011-2020, by analyzing (annual financial reports and board of directors and governance reports), extracting the results of the applied study and testing the hypotheses. Using SPSS.. The results of the applied study demonstrated the following: "There is a statistically significant effect of the characteristics of corporate governance on the value of the company in the insurance sector companies in the Arab Republic of Egypt under study". These results are expected to contribute to enhancing the general understanding of this field and directing future policies and practices of the insurance sector in Egypt, which It will have a positive impact on such policies and practices, as well as adding value in the field of corporate governance and the insurance sector. The study also recommended the necessity of encouraging the work of governance principles in insurance companies because they are considered the most important components of the system for defending the integrity of the insurance sector by combating conflicts of interest. With the need for clarity Insurance objectives and strategies and setting clear standards for their implementation, which increases the value and performance of insurance sector companies.
