المستخلص: It is interesting to see the recognition of the role of social capital in promoting sustainable development in Algeria. Social capital refers to the networks, norms, and trust within a society that facilitate cooperation and coordination among individuals and groups. The study's findings highlight the importance of social capital in creating a positive environment for development by fostering collaboration, trust, and solidarity among individuals and groups. This, in turn, leads to increased productivity and a stronger reward system, which promotes responsiveness and confidence in community work. Investing in social capital can also help to deal with some of the challenges that hinder sustainable development in Algeria. For example, building networks of civil participation can help to promote transparency and accountability in government decision-making processes, which can improve the effectiveness of development policies and programs. The recommendations provided by the study can be useful for policymakers and development practitioners in Algeria who aim to promote sustainable development. Indeed, by focusing on building and strengthening social capital, they can create a more conducive environment for development that is inclusive, participatory, and responsive to the needs of the community.
