|a المجرم يتأثر بعوامل إجرامية مختلفة تدفعه إلى ارتكاب الجرائم وهذه العوامل لها دور كبير في خلق الظاهرة الإجرامية، ومع كثرتها فإن كل عامل منها سواء كان عنصرا في الشخصية الإنسانية (عضويا أو نفسيا)، أو سببا اجتماعيا وقد حظي بعناية علماء الإجرام في البحث عن مدى أهميته، وعن حدود الدور الذي يلعبه في تحديد السلوك الإجرامي للأفراد، ومن بين هذه العوامل العاهات العقلية والنفسية (العوامل الداخلية) التي لها أثر كبير في ارتكاب الجرائم.
