|a تناول المفكرون الإسلاميون مفردتي النفس والروح، ومنهم الفارابي وابن سينا، وبينوا أن النفس جوهر روحاني مستقل عن آلتها لكونها لا تدرك ذاتها بدون آلة، وأن الروح ما هي إلا حالة من حالاتها، وهي النفس الناطقة. وبما أن البحث الذي نحن بصدده يتقصى مفردتي النفس والروح في القرآن الكريم، فقد ارتأيت أن يكون القرآن الكريم هو الرافد الأول والأساسي للبحث عن مفردتي النفس والروح على رأي المفسر محمد حسين الطباطبائي. فيتبين من ذلك إن الهدف من البحث هو لتمييز الفرق بين النفس والروح من حيث الدلالة في الاستعمال القرآني.
|b Islamic thinkers dealt with the terms soul and spirit, including Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina, and explained that the soul is a spiritual essence independent of its machine because it does not perceive itself without a machine, and that the spirit is only one of its states, which is the speaking soul. Since the research we are dealing with investigates the terms soul and spirit in the Holy Qur’an, I decided that the Holy Qur’an should be the first and basic source for the search for the terms soul and spirit, according to the opinion of the commentator Muhammad Hussein Tabatabai. It becomes clear from this that the aim of the research is to distinguish the difference between the soul and the spirit in terms of its significance in Qur’anic usage.
