|a يعد الوعي الزائف أحد أهم المشكلات التي تواجه تقدم الأفراد والشعوب وتنمية قدراتها وتطوير إمكاناتها فهو لا يخلو من وجهين أما أن يكون هو المبرر للأنظمة الحاكمة وما تقوم به من أعمال كالظلم والحيف ضد شعوبها أو إنه يكون هو نتاج السلطة وصنيعتها لذلك فهو يساهم في غياب العدالة الاجتماعية ووقوع المشكلات والمآسي في الكثير من الشعوب التي لازالت تتأخر بسبب الوعي الزائف لذلك فهو مشكلة ملحة لكل إنسان كما هو مشكلة لكل مجتمع.
