|b The persistent presence of micro plastics in the environment has become a major threat to many organisms and this issue continues with heavy metals pollution. In this study, we examined the copper (Cu) adsorption ability of micro plastics fragment derived from plastic bottle for drinking water (PET) polyethylene terephalate and plastic scraps were exposed to an optical energy device UV exposure and we used a spectrophotometer to measure absorbance and concentration. We noticed an increase in copper absorption in the plastic pieces with increasing exposure time ,as well as the concentrations and quantity of the plastic pieces.
