|a يهدف البحث إلى بيان الإعلال بالاختلاف على الراوي في الوصل والإرسال، وبيان الإعلال بالاختلاف على الراوي في الرفع والوقف، وبيان الإعلال بالاختلاف على الراوي بإثبات راو في السد أو حذفه، وبيان الإعلال بالاختلاف على الراوي بإبدال راو براو آخر، وبيان الإعلال بالاختلاف على الراوي في إبدال أسناد بإسناد آخر. وقد استخدمت المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي المقارن. وقد توصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج منها: أنه لا يمكن للباحث أن يتوصل إلى معرفة العلة في الحديث إلا ببذل كل الجهد في جمع طرق الحديث، ومعرفة أقوال العلماء فيها، والبحث في أحوال الرجال جرحا وتعديلا، والمعرفة الكبيرة بالأسانيد والمتون.
