The study aimed to reveal the degree to which early childhood kindergarten directors practice media literacy skills for the twenty-first century in the city of Taif. The study used the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of the entire study population, which numbered (82) directors of government early childhood kindergartens in the city of Taif. The two researchers applied a questionnaire it contained (10) paragraphs representing media literacy skills. The results showed that the degree of early childhood kindergarten principals’ practice of media literacy was very large, according to the principals’ responses, with an overall average (4.35) and a standard deviation (0.67), and that there were no statistically significant differences at a significance level (α ≥ 0.05) between the average degrees of early childhood kindergarten principals’ practice of media culture in the city of Taif according to the variable (scientific qualification, years of experience). The study reached several recommendations, including making use of the study and its tool (the questionnaire) in order to measure the degree of practicing media culture skills among early childhood kindergarten directors.
