|a تعتبر الدراسات العلمية المتخصصة التي تعتمد على كتب الرحالة الأجانب المستشرقين ووصفهم للمجتمعات العربية الإسلامية، وخاصة في شبة الجزيرة العربية، من أصعب الدراسات العلمية، من حيث جمع المادة العلمية وتحليلها، وخاصة عندما تكون الدراسة في بؤرة الإسلام، ألا وهي مكة المكرمة، فتناولت هذه الدراسة الموسومة بـ: المرأة المكية من خلال كتابات المستشرق سنوك هورخورنية ١٣٠٢هـ/ ۱٨٨٥م، صورة المرأة المكية؛ وذلك من خلال استقراء النصوص المتعلقة بالمرأة. واستخلاص الصورة الكلية للمرأة المكية في كتابات المستشرق سنوك هورخورنيية، وتفكيك بنيتها، والكشف عن دور المرأة المكية من حيث حياتها الاجتماعية في المجتمع المكي في تلك الفترة من الدراسة، وكذلك مشاركتها في المناسبات الخاصة (من خطبة، وزواج، وطلاق، وولادة، ووفاة) والمناسبات العامة، وملابسها وزينتها، والمهن المختلفة التي امتهنتها، وغيرها. وهذا يدل على دور، وأهمية المرأة المكية في فترة الدراسة وأنها مؤثرة بشكل مباشر وغير مباشر في المجتمع المكي. وهنا لا بد أن نعطي تحليلا منطقيا للدراسة ونرد على المستشرق سنوك عندما يتحدث عن موضوعات لا تتفق مع حياة المجتمع المكي، وخاصة المرأة المكية، حتى نوضح في الدراسة للقارئ الاختلافات المعلوماتية غير الصحيحة التي قد يقع فيها الرحالة المستشرقون في وطننا العربي، وخاصة شبة الجزيرة العربية، ويجب أن نكون حذرين من كتابتهم ونقارنها مع الكتابات المحلية أو الأجنبية في نفس فترتهم.

And extracting the overall picture of the Meccan woman in the writings of the orientalist Snook Horkhornie, And the dismantling of its structure, and the disclosure of the role of the Meccan woman in terms of her social life in the Meccan society in that period of study, as well as her participation in special occasions (such as sermons, marriage, divorce, birth, and death) and public events, her clothes and adornment, the various professions that she practiced, and others. This indicates the role and importance of the Meccan woman in the study period and that she is directly and indirectly influential in the Meccan society. Here, we must give a logical analysis of the study and respond to the orientalist Snook when he talks about topics that do not agree with the life of the Meccan society, especially the Meccan woman, so that we can explain in the study to the reader the incorrect information differences that orientalist travelers may fall into in our Arab homeland, especially the Arabian Peninsula. Be careful of their writing and compare it with the local or foreign writings of the same period.
