Results: Egypt applies one of the strong family planning programs, as the percentage of married women in the age group (15-49 years) using family planning methods reached 59% in 2014, and according to the National Population Strategy, it is targeted that this percentage reach 71.6% by 2030. To achieve this percentage, it is necessary to determine the most important factors affecting the woman's use of family planning methods, not only at the woman's level, but also at the level of the characteristics of the surrounding environment. The use of family planning methods varied according to the place of residence. This study aims to determine the set of factors that affect the rates of family planning methods in the most and the least decrease in the birth rate in Egypt in 2020, and this was achieved through: measuring the effect of the surrounding environment on the possibilities of using any family planning method among women currently married to those who are Their ages range between (15-49). Study the factors at the level of the characteristics of the woman and the level of the surrounding environment characteristics that affect the possibilities of using any family planning method. The results of the analysis showed that a large part of the contrast in the possibilities of the use of family planning means is due to the differences between the primary counting areas (the higher level units). This indicates that despite the high rates of family planning methods, there are still disparities in taking advantage of some health services according to the residence. This is not only due to a lack or unequal distribution of services, but also due to the contrast in the behavior of the woman, this is due to the effect of the environment surrounding the woman on her culture and customs. The study concluded that the woman who lives in the most low governorates, the level of education is above a university, does not prefer to have males from females, woman has been exposed to family planning messages, her husband does not want to have more children and is close to family planning services that are the most vulnerable to the use of family planning means. Recommendations: - Attention to teaching girls because of its role in increasing awareness about reproductive health. - Increasing awareness campaigns about the importance of using family planning means, especially the most effective means such as IUD. - Work to measure more variables necessary to explain the external behavior of the woman and measure some psychological and behavioral variables of the woman. - Identify the areas where the use of family planning means and study the causes of decline.
