|b This paper aims at showing the similarities and differences between English and Arabic consonant clusters. In order to achieve this aim, a theoretical background of consonant clusters in English and Arabic should be introduced and a comparison of consonant clusters in English and Arabic should be presented. The results of this paper show that English and Arabic consonant clusters are different as for position, so English consonant clusters can be used in initial, medial and final, while in Arabic, consonant clusters can be used only at the end of syllable.
