|a منذ بداية فكرة مشروع التوسع الفرنسي في شمال إفريقيا، حيث كانت البداية بالجزائر، لم يترك الفرنسيون شيئا للصدف، ففي البداية اختلقوا حججا للغزو، تحت ذريعة الدفاع عن النفس، وبعد الغزو اختلقوا تبريرات التوسع والبقاء، لعلمهم أن وضعهم في الجزائر غير مبرر لا أخلاقيا ولا قانونيا فقاموا باستدعاء كل العلوم لخدمة الأيديولوجيا الاستعمارية، لإنجاز نظريات ومفاهيم هي في الحقيقة عبارة عن مغالطات، وضعت لتبرر وتسوغ دوام حالة الاستعمار، يتم تمريرها تحت حجة البحث العلمي، حتى تقبل على أنها حتميات ومسلمات من أجل فرض الأمر الواقع، ولإضفاء شرعية على الوجود الفرنسي في الجزائر، وموازاة مع ذلك فإن الإيديولوجيا الاستعمارية ترجمت على الأرض كممارسات تنتهج سياسة الإبادة والإقصاء طالت كل الفضاءات كما استهدفت تغيير هوية المنطقة.
