المستخلص: Environmental security has become one of the most significant issues on the global stage, particularly with the appearance of new security threats that have greatly affected the region's environment. Hence, we raise the following problematic: To what extent have environmental security threats in the African coast region been reflected in the non-achievement of environmental security? Our study adopted the descriptive analytical and case study methods to describe and analyze the reality of the region's problems. The study concluded that the environmental deterioration on the coast is due to the effects of new security threats and the repercussions of climate change, which have greatly affected the non-achievement of environmental security in the region.
