This article deals with a well-known religious and political figure in the Maghreb, who is the personality of Sheikh Abd al-Hay al-Kettani al-Maghribi. This man had many visits to Algeria, and he used to receive men of knowledge, mysticism and the national movement in all his visits, but some of his projects made him somewhat suspicious. Because of his involvement with French colonialism, and for this we find some Algerian thinkers, such as Sheikh Al-Bashir Al-Ibrahimi, who see him as a conspirator against the national cause, and he must be confronted. |
