|b The UN Security Council is the body to which internaional law has granted the authority to maintain international peace and security, to suppress acts of aggression, and to promote respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all people. This paper came to examine the necessity of Resolution No. 2728, issued by the Security Council, related to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, based on its responsibility to which it committed itself, after the crimes of human genocide, which were committed by Israel against civilians in the Gaza Strip more than six months ago.
