Abstract: تسعى الدراسة إلى الإجابة عن تساؤل مهم مؤداه: هل الحارة المصرية بوصفها واحدة من أهم الأماكن الثلاثة -وفقا لمفهوم أولدن بيرج- قادرة على القيام بوظائفها الاجتماعية في ظل التحولات المجتمعية المعاصرة؟، وفي ضوء ذلك تحاول رصد أهم الوظائف الاجتماعية التي تقدمها الحارة المصرية لقاطنيها في ظل التحولات المجتمعية المعاصرة، واستنتاج ديناميات الاستدامة الذاتية للحارة في ظل التحولات المعاصرة، ومعرفة الأبعاد الذاتية والأبعاد الموضوعية لعملية التفاعل الاجتماعي داخل الحارة كمكان ثالث لسكانها، وتعد هذه الدراسة وصفية تحليلية، واعتمدت على كل من: المنهج الأنثروبولوجي، والمنهج الوصفي التحليلي.

Is the Egyptian Hara, one of the three most significant locations in Oldenburg’s model, able to fulfill its social roles considering the current societal transformations? This is an essential topic that the study aims to resolve. Considering this, it aims to track the most important social services that the Egyptian Hara offers to its citizens under the current societal transformations, determine the dynamics of the Hara’s self sustainability within the current transformations, and identify the subjective and objective dimensions of the process of social interaction within the Hara. This descriptive and analytical study drew on both the anthropological and the descriptive-analytic approaches.
