المستخلص: Women’s benefaction during Al-Rashidin caliphate was of graet importance and it reveals the competence of the nation in the domains of finance and economics. Procedures in this respect were characterized by taking into account the circumstances and the changing conditions due to the historical developments. Here lies the basics and the origins of benefaction and its first roots in Al- Risalah period represented by not giving women a portion of capitation and booties. In other words, women did not receive their share from the booties. This has witnessed a change in Al-Rashidin caliphate, as the period of the Caliph Abu Bakr Al-Siddeeq’s rule witnessed the imposition of the law to give women benefaction and equalize women with men in receiving it. During the period of the Caliph Omar Ibn Al-Khattab’s rule, women’s conditions and changing circumstances were considered. This was based on enhancing the centrality and priority of the Muslim women and their role in serving the Islamic mission. There had also been unsteady development in women’s benefaction during the rule of the Caliph Othman Ibn Affan. Yet the period of the Caliph Ali Ibn Abi Talib’s rule witnessed the establishment of women’s benefaction based on equality and justice in distribution. What has been so far stated refers to the accuracy and flexibility of the economic procedures that were harmonious with giving the women their financial rights from the nation’s fund represented by benefaction.
