The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of an educational program for the development of psychological well-being among students of the Technical Institute/ Mosul. It included a sample of students of the second semester in the Technical Institute, both sexes (male and female) within the humanities and scientific specialization. Then have been distributed to two equal groups, the first group enrolled in the program while the other group is not. This process was organized by organizing the data in the form of equivalent pairs. They distributed equally 20 male and female students in each group. The two researcher verified the equivalence between the two groups in a number of variables. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers adopted the psychological well-being scale prepared by Shend and others on 2013, which consists of 45 phrases, as finalized to be divided into six areas: goal in life, self-acceptance, independence, positive relationships with others, personal maturity, and mastery of the environment. The scale was trustworthy and consistent. The program was applied to members of the experimental group in the second semester of the academic year 2018-2019. After completing the implementation of the educational program, the two researchers applied a psychometric well-being measures for the purpose of verifying research hypotheses. The statistical portfolio was used for social sciences SPSS And it turned out that there is a statistically significant differences between the mean arranged psychological wellbeing development among members of the four research groups for the benefit of the pilot. The sex variable was in favor of females. Females are more interactive than their peers in the educational program. In light of the presented results both researchers set of conclusions recommendations and proposals to take advantage of the educational program prepared in the current study. |
