المستخلص: In order to highlight the status of biographies of the famous and their deaths in the field of Arab Islamic heritage, and the definition and biography, and to enable researchers to identify the sources of this art in our Islamic heritage. This study, which deals with the disclosure of the Mamluk heritage through the manuscript "The Ultimate Death of ali-Nuha" by Ibn Hamza al- Damashqi, 874 AH, The author of this book is one of the historians of the eighth century AH, which flourished the movement of authorship in a new pattern of codification and historical writing, a method of writing abbreviations. This study aims at uncovering the abbreviations of death books in the Mamluk era. Through the presentation of works of death books that appeared at that time, and study one of the models of the literature, which is still under study and investigation.
