المستخلص: Looking at the resources used by Ibn Khamis AL-Maliqi (D 639 AH) in his book “Matl’a Al-Anwar wa Nuzhatul Basayer wal Absar”, it has been found that they are divided into two groups. First group: Writing resources The study examined the citations that have been taken from other books. These citations were of six pivots, each pivot represented by one of the two authors participated in authoring “Matla’ Al-Anwar” except for the last pivot which was represented by a number of authors. The study also discussed the books and the records mentioned by Ibn Khamis while authoring his book. These books were fifty five in number. They were embarked upon according to their arrangement in “ Matla’ Al-Anwar”. The second group: Oral acquisition resources The study considered seven types of vocalizations which represented the oral acquisition, namely: ((Haddatha/to report)) with its declensions, ((Anshad/to recite)) with its declensions, ((Akhbara/ to tell)) with its declensions,((Akhatha/ to take)) with its declensions, ((Qara’a/ to read)) with its declensions, ((Saja’a/ to rhyme)) with its declensions and ((Irtajala/ to improvise)) with its interpretations. In this way, the study enumerated the written and spoken resources of the book.
