Strategic planning is an effective tool for achieving established goals and achieving a qualitative leap in all areas as it enables institutions to identify their current and future capabilities. It is, hence, a mental analytical process for perceiving the organization’s future shape according to variables in the environment and how it adapts to it. The present study aimed to identify the reality of strategic planning in its three dimensions (strategic orientation- strategic analysis- strategic choice) in economic institutions by drawing on a case study of the Atlas Brick Factory in Bou Saada, M’sila Province- Algeria. Due to the country’s emergency health conditions because of the spread of the fourth wave of the epidemic, 13 frames from this factory were selected as a study sample by 100%. This study adopted the scale of the researcher Hamad Chafa. It also relied on frequencies, percentages, and arithmetic means, as well as graphical representation in presenting and analyzing the results. The results validated the main hypothesis: the Atlas Brick Factory applies strategic planning. The study also provided a set of recommendations and suggestions for the continued support of the strategic planning process.
