|a تجارة الرقيق ظاهرة عرفتها العديد من الأمم في أزمنة مختلفة، ولكن ممارسة هذه التجارة اتخذت شكلا آخر من قبل الأوروبيين في أفريقيا وبخاصة عند الإنجليز حيث تجرد فيها بعض البشر من القيم الإنسانية، من أجل المكاسب المادية، فتصاعدت حملات القنص وتعرض الأفارقة لظلم بني جلدتهم الذين أسهموا في اقتناصهم وبيعهم وللمعاملة اللاإنسانية من قبل الأوروبيين الذين يدعون حمل لواء الإنسانية ومبادئ حقوق الإنسان، تلك المبادئ التي تلغى ولا يعتد بها عند تعارضها مع مصالحهم. وبالرغم من تبني بريطانيا فكرة حظر هذه التجارة إلا أن هدفها لم يكن إنسانيا صرفا، بل لتوسيع نفوذها والتحكم في الطرق التجارية. وحاول الأوروبيين التملص والصاق تهمة الاتجار بالبشر بغيرهم من الأمم، إلا أن تبعات هذه الحركة والطريقة اللاإنسانية مازالتا تلاحقهم حتى يومنا هذا، وخير دليل النداءات في بعض الدول الأوروبية حاليا، وخاصة بريطانيا، لكشف الحقائق وتعرية الشركات والمؤسسات وحتى العائلات التي أسهمت في هذه التجارة.
|b The slave trade is a phenomenon that affected many countries at different stages of history, but it took a new form among Europeans in Africa, especially the British, where some people stripped of their human values in favor of material gains. Some Africans contributed to the process of slave trafficking, where slave were treated inhumanely by Europeans who claim that they carry the banner of humanity and the principles of human rights, which are canceled and not taken into account when they conflict with their interests. Although the banning this trade was Britain’s idea, but its goal was to extend British control, especially over sea routes and prevent the deportation of slaves to the Americas after the American Wars of Independence. This obscene crime continues to haunt Europeans to this day, and the best evidence of this is the calls in Britain, to reveal the facts about the tragedies that Africans have been subjected to.
