تعد الكتابة الروائية إبداعا سرديا مناط به أن يستعين بمجموعة من الميكانزمات والآليات في الكتابة، وهو بذلك لا يقدم دلالات ثابتة ومطلقة، وهذا ما يحتم على القارئ محاولة كشف مدلولات النص، من خلال اعتباره عملا إبداعيا يتوسل بسلطة الرمز وجمالية التعبير دلاليا وفنيا. وهذا ما يفسح لنا المجال لقراءة رواية "مسك الليل" لسعيد بنسعيد العلوي، من منطلق الإمكانيات التي يقدمها علم السرد، لتقديم أجوبة عن الأسئلة التي يطرحها النص، وخاصة الاشتغال التراثي والتاريخي في الحكاية، وبما أن النص الروائي يقبل بتعدد القراءات في إطار التأويل المنفتح، تبقى القراءة التي تحترم نفسها، هي تلك التي تؤمن بأهمية ومكانة القراءات الأخرى، وتنفتح عليها وتناقشها وتحاورها.
Fiction writing is a narrative creativity that relies on a variety of mechanisms and techniques in writing, thus not offering fixed and absolute meanings. This requires the reader to attempt to uncover the meanings of the text by considering it as a creative work that appeals to the authority of symbolism and the aesthetic of expression semantically and artistically. This allows us to read the novel «Musk of the Night» by Saeed bin Saeed Al Alawi, based on the possibilities offered by the science of narration, to provide answers to the questions posed by the text, especially the heritage and historical engagement in the story. Since the narrative text allows for multiple readings within an open framework of interpretation, a respectful reading is one that acknowledges the importance and position of other readings, and engages in discussion and dialogue with them.
