The research deals with hunting in the poetry of Ibn al-Rumi, and among the things recorded in his poetry are his adventures in it alone and with a group. Ibn al-Rumi diversified his hunting trips and hunting adventures between land and the sea. His view of the hero of the hunting trip differed. He sometimes describes him as heroism, as in hunting of the wild bull. He sometimes describes him as a crime, as in attacking gang on a muezzin’s rooster and capturing him. Anyone contemplates the poet’s hunting poetry, will find out that he has been exposed to more than one model. Talking about hunting itself, Ibn al-Rumi is not an innovator among the poets, but he treated it in a way that distinguishes him from others. It contains innovation and creativity in drawing and describing. If you taste it, it will tell you about the poet without difficulty or effort, and The poet’s style is considered a fingerprint that cannot be repeated. The first model Is in sea fishing in which. the poet links the story of his catching fishing with mentioning the virtues of the person he is praising. He refers to his enjoyment of eating "carp", which is a type of fish that the hand of the person praised by the poet honors him with, and the poet prays for him to enjoy that food. It also includes seeking an excuse for the person being praised, and the poet apologizing for his own behavior if he unintentionally violated something between himself and the person being praised. Then he points out that luck may sometimes favor a person sometimes and may be against him other times. The second model Tells the story of a rooster which was a muezzin, and a gang attacked it, captured it, and ate it. In the end they received the penalty for their action, and the events of the story reveal their crime. as if they had committed a forbidden act. So how do they slaughter their muezzin? The matter deserved for the sheikhs to write advice for repentance, and their crime did not pass in this way, but rather they were hastened with punishment from God (Glory be to Him). The poet did not participate in this model because in his view it is a crime, but he participated with his companions in the story of the migratory bird that he mentioned. The third model In which the poet was a participating spectator as evidenced by his expression in the plural form which he pleaded with the first person pronouns, telling the story of a group of hunters. He personally watched their horses as they charged, heading to hunt wild bulls.
