المستخلص: هدف هذا البحث إلى استخدام نقوش جبال العلا لتصميم وحدات متنوعة وتطبيقها باستخدام الدمج بين الطباعة وغرز التطريز اليدوية على أزياء نسائية. وترجع أهميته في إيجاد رؤية إبداعية تطبيقية، باستخدام أصالة النقوش، وخلق روح معاصرة في تصميم الأزياء. يتبع هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي مع التحليل والتطبيق بالتعرف على جبال العلا وأبرز نقوشها، وعمل التجارب المختلفة من خلال استخدام هذه النقوش وعمل وحدات يتم طباعتها ومن ثم إضافة غرز التطريز، للوصول إلى أهداف البحث والتحقق من صحة الفروض وذلك بتصميم (15) اسكتش تم اختيار (10) منها وتنفيذها. وتم تقييم التصميمات باستخدام أداة الدراسة من قبل المتخصصين عددهم (15)، ومن قبل المستهلكين عددهم (30) وتوصلت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين تقييم المتخصصين للتصميمات المنفذة من الوحدات المكونة من نقوش جبال العلا في تحقيق محاور التقييم ككل. وجاءت أهم التوصيات بتشجيع دراسة الآثار وخلق خطوط إنتاج محلية في مجال تصميم الأزياء تعكس الهوية التراثية والاستفادة من تلك الدراسات في الهيئة السعودية للسياحة لتعزيز الهوية الوطنية.

The aim of this research is to use Al-‘Ula Mountains inscriptions to design various units and apply them using the combination of printing and hand embroidery stitches on women's fashion. Its importance is due to finding an applied creative vision, using the authenticity of the inscriptions, and creating a contemporary spirit in fashion design. This research follows the descriptive method with analysis and application by identifying the mountains of Al-Ula and its most prominent inscriptions and making various experiments through the use of these inscriptions and making units to be printed and then adding embroidery stitches, to reach the objectives of the research and verify the validity of the hypotheses by designing (15) sketches (10) of them were selected and implemented. The designs were evaluated using the study tool by (15) specialists, and (30) consumers. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the specialists' evaluation of the designs implemented from the units composed of the inscriptions of the Al Ula Mountains in achieving the evaluation axes. The most important recommendations came to encourage the study of antiquities and create local production lines in the field of fashion design that reflect the heritage identity and to benefit from those studies in the Saudi Tourism Authority to enhance the national identity.
