المستخلص: تناول البحث تعاطي الأفيون وبقية أنواع المخدرات الأخرى والاتجار بها بين طلبة الجامعة لما لتلك الظاهرة وانتشارها من آثار سلبية متعددة على المجتمع بصورة عامة وشباب الجامعة بصورة خاصة، فتكون البحث من جانبين الأول: الجانب النظري ويتضمن الفصل الأول والذي يشمل المبحث الأول وهو مشكلة وأهمية وأهداف البحث والمفاهيم والمصطلحات والمبحث الثاني تكون من تصنيف المخدرات وفقا لأصل المادة المخدرة وتأثيرها على دماغ الفرد وكذلك الفئة المستهدفة وأسباب انتشار المخدرات أما المبحث الثالث فتمثل بآثار ومشاكل المواد المخدرة ووسائل علاجها أما الجانب الثاني الجانب المنهجي والميداني للدراسة والمتمثل بالفصل الثاني والذي يضم مبحثين الأول منهج وأداة البحث (المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والاستبيان) ومجالات البحث أو الدراسة (المكاني والزماني والبشري) فضلا عن عينة البحث والتي تمثلت ب (100) طالب جامعي، أما المبحث الثاني فتمثل بنتائج الدراسة وتحليل وتفسير تلك النتائج من الجانب الميداني إضافة إلى التوصيات والخاتمة والمصادر.

The research dealt with the abuse of opium and other types of drugs and their trafficking among university students because of this phenomenon and its spread of multiple negative effects on society in general and university youth in particular. The research consisted of two aspects: the first: the theoretical aspect and includes the first chapter, which includes the first section, which is the problem, importance and objectives of the research. The concepts and terminology and the second section are the classification of drugs according to the origin of the narcotic substance and its effect on the individual’s brain, as well as the target group and the reasons for the spread of drugs. The third section is represented by the effects and problems of narcotic substances and the means of treating them. The second aspect is the methodological and field aspect of the study, which is represented by the second chapter, which includes two sections. The first is the methodology and the research tool ( The descriptive analytical method and the questionnaire) and the fields of research or study (spatial, temporal, and human), in addition to the research sample, which was represented by (100) university students. The second section represented the results of the study and the analysis and interpretation of those results from the field side, in addition to the recommendations, conclusion, and sources.
