This research paper is based on a study of banking efficiency in a sample of Islamic banks in the Republic of Sudan. It dealt with the period from 1997 to 2008, which is the period that came after the financial and administrative reforms in the Sudanese financial sector. The study examines the degree and quality of efficiency, using a (non-parametric (model called data envelopment analysis , in order to analyze the technical efficiency of banking productivity, net technical efficiency ‘as well as economic efficiency on the banks under study. |
