|a يعد الجفاف من الظواهر المناخية التي تتعرض لها العديد من المناطق ولاسيما الجافة وشبة الجافة، فضلا عن المناطق الرطبة والشبه الرطبة بسبب للتغيرات في معدلات العناصر المناخية والمتمثلة بانخفاض معدلات سقوط الأمطار والرطوبة النسبية وارتفاع معدلات درجات الحرارة وقيم التبخر، إذ ينجم عن هذه الظاهرة تغيرات كبيرة وحدوث آثار بيئية خطيرة. تمثلت بالتناقص في الواردات المائية والزيادة في مستويات العجز المائي وقلة المساحات الزراعية وتراجع مساحات الغطاء النباتي وزيادة الأراضي الجرداء والأراضي المتملحة وانتشار الكثبان الرملية والتصحر من ذلك فان هدف الدراسة هو الكشف عن اثر التغيرات المناخية في تفاقم مشكلة الجفاف في محافظة ذي قار والآثار البيئية الناجمة عنها، إذ توصلت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج أهمها، أن منطقة الدراسة تشهد ارتفاع في قيم بعض العناصر المناخية مثل (درجات الحرارة والتبخر) والانخفاض في قيم البعض الآخر مثل (الأمطار والرطوبة)، مما اثر على طبيعة المناخ في المنطقة ومن ثم تفاقم ظاهرة الجفاف فيها، كما توصلت الدراسة وبحسب نتائج معادلة (دي مارتون) إلى أن مناخ منطقة الدراسة يتصف بانه مناخ شبه جاف، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود العديد من الآثار الناجمة عن ظاهرة الجفاف ساهمت بصورة كبيرة في تدهور النظام البيئي.
|b The drought is one of the climatic phenomena that impacts on several areas and especially the drought and sem-idrought regions. Additionally, the humid and semi-humid regions due to the variations in the averages of the climatic factors, such as, dropping the averages of the rainfall and relative humidity as well as increasing of the average's temperatures and evaporation values. This phenomenon would lead to huge changes and dangerous environmental effects, such as decreasing the water imports, increasing the barren and salted lands, and spreading of sand dunes and desertification. Accordingly, the aim of this study is to discover the impacts of climate changes in aggravation, the problem of the drought in the Thi-Qar governorate and the environmental effects that are results from them. This study has found some important results. For instance, the study region has included an increase in the value of some climatic parameters, such as evaporation and temperature and dropping in the other values, such as rain and humidity which would influence the nature of the climate and aggravate the drought of the region. Moreover, based on the results of Demartonne's equation, this study has found that the climate of the region is semidrought. Additionally, the study has explained that there are several effects which would result from the drought and cause the deterioration of the climatic system.
