المستخلص: This article delves into the inticate interplay between globalization and technological advancements, examining their profound impact on the field of translation. It elucidates the evolution and pivotal role of translation in this dynamic landscape. Commencing with an analysis of the hegemony of English as a global lingua franca and its repercussions on worldwide linguistic and cultural equilibrium. The article progress to delineate the metamorphosis of translation from a mere lexical conversion exercise to a multifaceted conduit for communication and mutual comprehension. Shaped by the forces of globalization, translation has burgeoned into in interdisciplinary domain enmeshing myriad spheres including literature and various academin disciplines. Moreover, the discourse encompasses a contemplation on the imperative to recalibrate translation pedagogy in response to global shifts, juxtaposed with the imperative of imbuing translator training with a nuanced understanding of cultural, economic and technological dimensions. The adeptness of translators in navigating a globalized erea necessitates a diverse skill set encompassing adept project management and proficiency in utilizing Translation and Localization Management tools. By elucidating the ramifications of technology on translation as arbiters of linguistic and cultural exchange in an ever-evolving global erea. It underscores how their agility in adapting to changing paradigms delineates the trajectory of global linguistic and cultural interaction. The overarching aim of this article is to furnish a comprehensive overview of the challenges and prospects confronting the translation profession amids the bachdrop of globalization and relentless technological innovation.

Cet article aborde l’interaction complexe entre la mondialisation et les progrès technologiques et examine leur impact sur la traduction en mettant en lumière l’évolution et le rôle de la traduction. Il débute par une analyse de la prédominance de l’anglais en tant que langue internationale et son effet sur l’équilibre linguistique et culturel mondial. Il examine ensuite comment la traduction est passée d’une simple conversion de mots à un facteur de communication et d’intercompréhension. Influencée par la mondialisation, elle est transformée en une discipline interdisciplinaire couvrant tous les domaines dont la littérature et les disciplines. La réflexion sur la nécessité d’ajuster l’enseignement de la traduction aux changements mondiaux va de pair avec le souci de voir comment intégrer les aspects culturels, économiques et technologiques dans la formation des traducteurs. L’adaptation des traducteurs à un environnement mondialisé nécessite des compétences diversifiées telles que la gestion des projets et l’utilisation des outils de la TAO. En abordant les effets de la technologie sur la visibilité et la qualité des travaux de traduction, l’article conclut sur l’importance vitale des traducteurs comme médiateurs des langues et des cultures dans un monde en constante évolution, en montrant comment leur adaptabilité façonne l’avenir des interactions linguistiques et culturelles mondiales. L’objectif majeur de cet article et de fournir une vue d’ensemble des défis et des opportunités auxquels fait face la profession de traducteur dans un contexte de mondialisation et d’innovation technologique continue.
