|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى اختبار قانون فاغنر في سورية، لبيان اتجاه العلاقة الجدلية بين الإنفاق العام بشقيه الجاري والاستثماري، وبين الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في سورية، وقد تمت هذه الدراسة استناداً إلى بيانات السلاسل الزمنية للمتغيرين المذكورين المنشورة في المجموعة الإحصائية الصادرة عن المكتب المركزي للإحصاء خلال الفترة 1985-2021. استخدمت في هذه الدراسة منهجية ARDL لاختبار التكامل المشترك بين المتغيرات، وبيان جودة العلاقة بين الناتج والإنفاق، إضافة إلى سببية غرانجر لبيان اتجاه هذه العلاقة. بين اختبار سببية غرانجر أن هناك أثر للناتج المحلي الإجمالي على الإنفاق بنوعيه، أي أن متغيرات الاقتصاد السوري تخضع لقانون فاغنر، كما بين اختبار ARDL وجود تكامل مشترك بين الناتج والإنفاق الاستثماري فقط، لكن هذه العلاقة غير منطقية في حالة سورية.
|b This study aimed to test Wagner's law in Syria, to show the direction of the dialectical relationship between public spending, both its current and investment parts, and the gross domestic product in Syria. This study was conducted based on time series data for the two aforementioned variables published in the statistical compilation issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics during the period 1985-2021. In this study, the ARDL methodology was used to test co-integration between variables, and to demonstrate the quality of the relationship between GDP and spending, in addition to Granger causality to indicate the direction of this relationship. The Granger causality test showed that there is an effect of GDP on both types of spending, meaning that the variables of the Syrian economy are subject to Wagner's law. The ARDL test also showed that there is a co-integration between GDP and investment spending only, but this relationship is illogical in the case of Syria.
