المستخلص: تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة الحالية في تحليل عناصر الخطاب الإقناعي السمعبصري المقدمة في سلسلة الأفلام الوثائقية "كيف تغير عقلك" أو How To Change Your Mind، المذاعة على منصة نيتفليكس والتي تدور حول عقاقير الهلوسة (المهلوسات)، واستهدفت الدراسة التعرف على وجهة النظر الاقناعية المقدمة في السلسلة الوثائقية عينة الدراسة عن عقاقير الهلوسة، وتجربة استخدامها، ومبررات الاعتماد عليها، وكذلك التعرف على الأساليب الاقناعية المستخدمة في تلك السلسلة لإثبات صحة وجهة النظر الاقناعية، وتم استخدام تحليل المضمون الكيفي كمنهج للبحث، بالاعتماد على أسس نظرية الخطاب الإقناعي وتطويرها المتمثل في نظرية الخطاب الإقناعي السمعبصري في تصميم أداة التحليل الكيفي، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أنه على الرغم من الكم الكبير من الأدلة العقلية التي أوردتها الحلقات، فإنه لا يمكن القول أنها أدلة دامغة على صحة وجهة النظر المقدمة، فقد اعتمدت الأدلة العقلية على الآراء الشخصية لميكائيل بولان وشهادات باحثين وأكاديميين مؤيدين لاستخدام العقار، وكان الاستنباط والاستدلال مبنيان بشكل أساسي على مقدمات قدمها بولان - ولم يقدم دلائل على صحتها أو دقتها في أغلب الأحيان، كما تم إغفال ذكر بعض التفاصيل الهامة رغم أهميتها، وقدمت السلسلة شحنة إقناعية عاطفية هائلة، فقد ربطت الحلقات بين تناول تلك العقاقير، والشفاء من أمراض أو أعراض أمراض يأس المرضي من شفائها بالطرق التقليدية، وكذلك بين تناولها واكتشاف عوالم أخرى لم يتم التعرض لها من قبل، وإعادة الاستمتاع بالحياة، والحصول على تجارب روحانية وصوفية سريعة، ووظف صناع الفيلم التكرار كوسيلة أساسية للإقناع، فنجد أن نفس التعبيرات والألفاظ والمعلومات وبعض الصور الوثائقية تتكرر على لسان ميكائيل بولان، وعلى لسان عدد من الضيوف، وذلك على مدار الحلقات، مما قد يجعل المشاهد يشعر أن التكرار هو إثبات لصحة المعلومة، وقد استفاد صناع الفيلم من أن العمل مقدم في صورة سلسلة وثائقية، وليس فيلم وثائقي واحد، ويمكن تقييم هذه السلسلة الوثائقية بأنها سلسلة وثائقية إقناعية أو شبه دعائية داعمة للعقاقير المهلوسة، فلم تُستخدم الوسائل الإخراجية المعروفة في صناعة الأفلام الوثائقية التي تدور حول موضوعات شائكة، وأهمها استضافة عدد كبير من الأطراف سواء المؤيدين أو المعارضين، وتفنيد شهاداتهم، وقدمت السلسلة الوثائقية عينة الدراسة ما أسمته "بنهضة المهلوسات"، والتي عني بها اهتمام عدد من المواطنين والباحثين في الغرب وفي الولايات المتحدة بإعادة البحث العلمي حول تلك العقاقير واستخداماتها الطبية، وقدمت السلسلة احتياج فئات بعينها لهذه المهلوسات، حتى تستطيع التغلب على الأزمات التي تمر بها، إلى درجة قيام حركات سياسية في الولايات المتحدة للإلغاء تجريم وحظر استخدامها وتناولها وتداولها، وهو ما قدم صورة عن حراك مجتمعي في الولايات المتحدة والمجتمع الغربي تجاه الدعوة لاستخدام هذه المهلوسات من جانب الأفراد دون أي قيود، وإذا كان ذلك شأن غربي بحت، لكن تقديمه في أفلام وثائقية على منصات عالمية قد يكون له آثار عميقة على المجتمعات المحلية التي تتعرض لهذا المضمون، وقد يدعو ذلك المسئولين عن الإعلام وكذلك الباحثين ورجال الدين والجهات المعنية في مصر لمناقشة هذا الموضوع، وتقديم توصيات حوله من خلال كل وسائل الإعلام الممكنة.

The problem of the current study was to analyze the elements of the audiovisual rhetoric presented in the Documentary Series "How to Change Your Mind,” broadcasted on Netflix platform, which revolves Psychedelics. The study aimed to identify the persuasive point of view presented in the series, the experience of using them, and the justifications for relying on them, as well as identifying the persuasive methods used in that series to prove the validity of the persuasive point of view. Qualitative content analysis was used as a research method, relying on theory of Rhetoric and its development represented by the theory of audiovisual rhetoric in designing the qualitative analysis tool. The study concluded that despite the large amount of rational evidence presented by the episodes, it cannot be deduced that they were conclusive evidence of the validity of the point of view presented. The rational evidence relied on the personal opinions of Michael Pollan and the testimonies of researchers and academics who support the use of Psychedelics. The deduction and inference were based primarily on the premises presented by Pollan - and he did not provide evidence of their validity or accuracy most of the time, some important details were neglected despite their importance. The series provided a tremendous amount of emotional appeals of persuasion, as the episodes linked taking these drugs and healing from diseases or symptoms of diseases that patients despair of being cured by the traditional methods, as well as between taking them and discovering other worlds that have not been reached., re-enjoying life, and obtaining quick spiritual and mystical experiences. The filmmakers used repetition as a basic means of persuasion. It was found that the same expressions, words, information, and some documentary images are repeated throughout the episodes. Which may make the viewer think that repetition is proof of the validity of the information, the film makers benefited from the fact that the work is presented in the form of a documentary series, and not a single documentary film. This documentary series can be evaluated as a rhetoric or semi- promotional documentary series in support of Psychedelics, hosting a large number of parties, whether supporters or opponents, and refuting their testimonies didn't happen in the series. The documentary series presented what it called "the renaissance of Psychedelics," which meant the interest of a number of citizens and researchers in the West and in the United States to restore scientific research into these drugs and their medical uses. The series presented the need of certain groups for these Psychedelics, so that they can overcome the crises that deal with, to the point that political movements in the United States have been constituted to abolish the criminalization and ban of their use, consumption and circulation, which presented an image of a societal movement in the United States and Western society towards calling for the use of these Psychedelics by individuals without any restrictions, and if that was a purely Western matter, but presenting it in documentaries on international platforms, may have profound effects on the local communities that are exposed to this content, and this may call those responsible for the media, as well as researchers, clerics, and concerned parties in Egypt to discuss this topic, and provide recommendations about it through all possible media outlets.
