من خلال الاطلاع على التراث العلمي السابق في موضوع التغيرات المناخية نجد أننا نواجه حقيقة ملموسة تتمثل في ندرة البحوث والدراسات حول هذا الموضوع وعلى الرغم من تنوع وسائل جمع البيانات واختيار العينات وتباين الزمان والمكان في هذه الدراسات السابقة إلا أنها جميعاً تتفق في نتائجها بخصوص مسببات واستمرار ظاهرة التغيرات المناخي، ولذا جاءت هذه الدراسة استكشاف كيفية تناول وسائل الإعلام الإلكترونية قضايا التغير المناخي المطروحة في مؤتمر قمة المناخ (COP27) ، وهدفت إلى استقصاء أطر التغطية الصحفية الإلكترونية للمؤتمر، ومعرفة مدى اهتمام المواقع الإخبارية بتغطية الموضوعات المتعلقة بمؤتمر قمة المناخ في عينة الصحف الإلكترونية المدروسة، ورصد وتحليل أنماط وأنواع الأطر الصحفية التي تم استخدامها في تغطية مؤتمر قمة المناخ COP27 من قبل عينة الصحف الإلكترونية، وأكدت الدراسة على اهتمام بالغ من المواقع الإخبارية عينة الدراسة في تناول الموضوعات والقضايا المتعلقة بمؤتمر المناخ، واعتمادها على مصادر متعددة لتغطية هذا الحدث العام وفي مقدمتها المحررين الصحفيين، كما تنوعت في استخدام العناصر البنائية في معالجتها لتلك القضايا في مقدمتها النصوص والصور الفوتوغرافية الثابتة وملفات الفيديو، وقد أكدت الدراسة على تنوع الأطر الإعلامية المتبعة من قبل المواقع الصحفية عينة الدراسة في معالجة قضايا مؤتمر المناخ وجاء اطار الشخصيات المحورية في مقدمة تلك الأطر، كما أشارت الدراسة إلى توفير مواقع الدراسة العديد من الخيارات التفاعلية بالموقع للتيح قدر أكبر من تفاعل المستخدمين مع المضمون الإخباري حول تلك القضايا.
Through reviewing the previous scientific heritage on the topic of climate change, we find that we are facing a tangible reality of scarcity of research and studies on this subject. Despite the diversity of data collection methods, sample selection, and variations in time and place in these previous studies, they all agree on the causes and the continued phenomenon of climate change. Therefore, this study aimed to explore how electronic media address climate change issues raised at the Climate Summit (COP27), and aimed to investigate the frameworks of electronic news coverage of the conference, and to determine the extent of interest of news websites in covering topics related to the Climate Summit in the studied sample of electronic newspapers. The study also aimed to monitor and analyze the patterns and types of journalistic frameworks used in covering the COP27 Climate Summit by the sample of electronic newspapers. The study emphasized the great interest of news websites in the study sample in addressing topics and issues related to the climate conference, and their reliance on multiple sources to cover this public event, including journalists. They varied in the use of structural elements in dealing with these issues, including texts, still photographs, and video files. The study also highlighted the diversity of media frameworks followed by the news websites in the study sample in addressing climate conference issues, with a focus on key personalities in the forefront of these frameworks. The study also pointed out that the study sites provided many interactive options on the website to enhance user interaction with the news content on these issues.
