|a عوالم الجن تتشوف إليها النفس البشرية للبحث عن أسرارهم وخباياهم، وفي الإسلام نشطت الأقلام بتدوين قصصهم الغريبة والعجيبة، وصد التعاويذ البشرية بمعوذات شرعية، وقد أشار الباحث إلى مقالة تحكي ما بقي من الخرافات بعنوان: (الأرضة آفة المخطوطات والبنايات وخرافات حولها)، ثم واصل عمله بجمع وتتبع ما دون عن الجن في الفهارس والأدلة وحفظها في مكان واحد باسم الجن في التراث العربي دراسة ببليوجرافية، فبلغت (٥٢٣) مادة مكتوبة، من بينها (٦١) مخطوطا، و(٥٠) مقالا. و(85) بحثا، وبلغت الرسائل العلمية (٣٥) عنوانا، للماجستير منها (۲۳) رسالة، وللدكتوراه (۱۲) رسالة. وعدد الدوريات والمجلات التي تم الرجوع إليها واستخراج المقالات والدراسات (۳۷) مجلة. وميدان البحث منذ بدء التأليف حتى وقتنا الحالي ١٤٤٤هـــ / 2022م والغاية من جمعها حصر وتوثيق الإنتاج الفكري العربي حول عوالمهم، ووضعه بين أيدي الباحثين والدارسين تقديرا لجهود المؤلفين المعاصرين، وللوقوف على الثغرات الواجب تغطيتها لمساعدة المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات في كافة أنحاء العالم المعنية بعالم الجن على بناء وتنمية مقتنياتها في هذا المجال. وقد أعرض الباحث عن العناوين التي نهى الإسلام عنها. وانتهى الباحث إلى تدوين مجموعة من الملاحظات والرؤى، أهمها: قوة التداخل والترابط في الحديث عن الجن. ونسبة مؤلفات الجن إلى مجاهيل لغايات يرومها المؤلفون.
|b Human beings are interested in the study of the world of the jinn in order to discover its secrets. In Islamic history, human use of amulets was countered with Shariah injunctions. The author has studied the remnants of such superstitious beliefs in his paper entitled "Termites, the Bane of Manuscripts and Buildings and Superstitions Regarding Them". He then set about to collect whatever was written about the jinn in indexes and guides and collated them all in a single place with the title "The Jinn in the Arabic Literary Legacy: A Bibliographic Study". The study included 523 written materials, including 61 manuscripts, 50 articles, 85 research papers, 35 academic theses, including 23 Master's theses and 12 Doctoral dissertations. Reference was made to 37 journals. The time frame for this study extends from the beginning of composition until the present day, AH 1444/2022. It sought to collate and document Arabic intellectual output regarding the world of the jinn and then to present the result to contemporary researchers, in recognition of their efforts, as well as to ascertain the gaps in our knowledge of this subject, thereby assisting libraries and information centers worldwide interested in the subject of the jinn in filling the gaps in their collections. The author has avoided the titles that Islam has prohibited. The author has also omitted compilation of Arabic tales of the jinn because of their great number as well as the inconsistency between their titles and their contents. Finally, the author set down a number of observations and ideas, such as the strong overlap and interconnection in the discussions regarding the jinn; the attribution of works on the jinn to unknown authors for reasons known only to their authors.
