المستخلص: إن الصحابة- رضي الله عنهم- تميزوا بمزايا عظيمة، لا ينكرها إلا من طمس الله تعالى بصيرته، فحازوا قصب السبق في الفضل والتقوى، فأجمع العلماء الذين يعتد بهم في الإجماع على تعديل كل الصحابة، فالمؤمن من يذكر الصحابة كلهم بالخير، ولا يخوض فيما شجر بينهم بالطعن والثلب. بُداءة تحدثت بتمهيد عن فضل الصحابة رضي الله عنهم ثم بيان منهج أهل السنة والجماعة عما شجر بين الصحابة، ومعنى السكوت عنه. ثم قمت بذكر بعض الآثار والأخبار حول عدد الصحابة الذين شهدوا الجمل أو صفين، والبحث في هذه المسألة، ثم نقدت آراء المؤرخين الذين بالغوا في ذكر الأعداد، ثم ذكرت جملة من الصحابة رضي الله عنهم هم الذين شهدوا الجمل أو صفين ممن اتفق على شهودهم، وكذلك الذين اشتهر شهودهم دون التزام صحة السند، إضافة إلى الذين ذكروا في كتب المؤرخين بأنهم شهدوا وسكت عنهم، أما ما نبه عليه الحفاظ مما وقفت عليه بضعف شديد أو وهم فتركت ذكرهم.

The companions ( may ALLH BLESS THEM ) were distinguished with great advantage, that can not be denied except by those whom ALLAH obliterated their vision, so they won the lead in class and piety, the scholars who are trustful agreed collectively to amend all the companions, the believer is that who mentions all the companions with too good and never involves him self nor interfere in their dispute either by stabbing or by flexing. The researcher refers to that he started his discussion by a preamble about the virtue of the companions ( may Allah bless them ) then showing the approach of THE SUNNA PEOPLE and the group, about the disputers between the companions, and the meaning of being silent against it, then the researcher mentioned the effects and the news (informing) about the number of the companions who attended the battle of the camel or SAFIEN he searched about this matter. then he criticized the opinions of the historians who exaggerated in referring to the numbers.. then he mentioned group of the companions who attended the battle of the camel or SAFIEN among those on whom there was an agreement about their attendance.. also those whom their testimony was known and famous without being committed with the correctness of the evidence, In addition to those who were mentioned in the books of the historians in that they attended and testified, but there was silence against them. but regarding what was given attention to by the keepers to be very weak or looked like an illusion, they were left without referring to them.
