|a تهتم هذه الدراسة بتسليط الأضواء على جدلية الرمز والدين في رواية الواجهة للكاتب "يوسف عز الدين عيسى، والنظر في هذه العلاقة المتشابكة، لبيان طرائق الكاتب في توظيف الرمز من الناحيتين الموضوعية والفنية، وبيان حدود الرمز في علاقته بالمقدس الديني، وأيضا أهميته باعتباره وسيلة فنية جيدة تمنح الكاتب حرية كبيرة في التعبير، حيث تعد رواية "الواجهة" للأديب الدكتور "يوسف عز الدين عيسى" من أهم الروايات الفكرية التي وظفت الرمز توظيفا دينيا باستعراضها قضايا دينية ذات أهمية خاصة في المنظور الديني، إذ إنها تحاول أن تجيب عن الأسئلة الوجودية التي تتعاور على العقل الإنساني وتؤرق صاحبه من خلال شخصية البطل الذي بدا حائرا جاهلا بحقيقة نفسه ووجوده في الحياة والكون الذي يعيش فيه وموته وما يعقبه من مراحل أخروية، وقد حاول الكاتب تفسير هذه الحيرة عند البطل والإجابة عن أسئلته الوجودية على طول الرواية باستخدام الرمز وجمالياته الوظيفية؛ فالبحث يسلط الضوء على قضايا الرمز في الرواية، وعلى الجانب الفني الذي تعانق مع الرمز واستفاد من خصائصه التي أتاحت له تناول هذا الموضوع بجرأة كبيرة.
|b This study aims to shed light on the dialectic of symbol and religion in Youssef Ezz El-Din Issa’s novel of Al-Wajha ‘The Façade’, and to examine this entangled relation with a view to explaining the writer’s methods in employing symbol in terms of both the objective and artistic aspects, delineating its boundaries and revealing its relation to the religious sanctity as well as its importance as an effective artistic means giving the writer full freedom of expression. The novel Al-Wajha ‘The Façade’” of the novelist Dr. Youssef Ezzedine Issa is considered one of the most significant intellectual novels that strategically employs religious symbolism to explore religious issues of particular importance from a religious standpoint. The novel aims to respond to existential questions that occasionally trouble the human mind and disturb its owner through the character of the protagonist, who appears perplexed and uninformed about the truth of himself, his existence in life as well as the universe he inhabits, his death and the subsequent afterlife stages. The writer endeavors to interpret this perplexity of the protagonist and answer his existential questions throughout the novel, utilizing symbol and its functional aesthetics. The research highlights the issues of symbol in the novel as well as the artistic aspect that intertwines with this symbol and benefits from its characteristics in a way that allows the author to boldly address this subject matter.
