المستخلص: أن البحث في الطرق التي نفكر بها، والكيفية التي نفهم بها لغتنا وتجاربنا، وندرك من خلالها أنفسنا والعالم من حولنا أسئلة شغلت الباحثين والدارسين منذ القدم، فكان لابد من البحث والدراسة والإفادة من اتساع بعض المفاهيم القديمة في الدراسات اللغوية، ومنها ما اتخذه مفهوم الاستعارة من نسق فكري جديد، يدور حول قضية مركزية في علاقة اللغة بالفكر والتفكير، ويطرح السؤال المحوري: هل الاستعارة مادة للغة أم مادة للفكر؟ لكونها مرتبطة ارتباطا وثيقا بأنساقنا التصورية، وبالتالي بالطريقة التي نحيا بها بوصفنا كائنات بشرية. لذلك سيعمد هذا العمل في البحث عن علاقة اللغة بالتصورات ودورها في الكشف عنها من خلال نظرية (الاستعارة التصورية لكل من لا يكوف جونسون)، بوصف الاستعارة بمفهومها الإدراكي نسقا تصوريًا لا حرفيًا، قوامها الجسد والتجربة الذاتية، مرتبطة بالفكر والذهن وليست مقتصرة على غايات جمالية وزخرفية، تعمل على استجلاء كيفية الفهم والتفكير البشري وتحقق التفاعل والتواصل بينهم، وقد استطاع الذهن العربي فهم مجال تصوري مجرد (كالجمال)، من خلال مجال تصوري محسوس وذلك وفق إسقاط استعاري لمعارف المجال المصدر على المجال الهدف، مما نتج عنها جملة من التماثلات أو الترابطات النسقية بينهما.

Research into the ways in which we think, and the way in which we understand our language and our experiences, and through which we perceive ourselves and the world around us, are questions that have occupied researchers and scholars since ancient times. It was necessary to research, study, and benefit from the breadth of some ancient concepts in linguistic studies, including what the concept of metaphor took from A new intellectual system that revolves around a central issue in the relationship of language to thought and thinking, and poses the pivotal question: Is metaphor a material for language or a material for thought? Because it is closely linked to our conceptual systems, and therefore to the way we live as human beings. Therefore, this work will seek to investigate the relationship of language to perceptions and its role in revealing them through the theory of (the conceptual metaphor of Lakoff-Johnson) , just as metaphor in its perceptual concept is a conceptual metaphor that does not Literalism, based on the body and self-experience, linked to thought and mind and not limited to aesthetic and decorative goals. It works to clarify how human understanding and thinking is achieved, and to achieve interaction and communication between them. The Arab mind was able to understand an abstract conceptual field (such as beauty) through another conceptual field, according to a metaphorical projection of the field’s knowledge. The source on the target domain, resulting in a set of similarities or systematic connections between them.
