المستخلص: يسعى هذا البحث المسوم بـ(الاحتجاج بالحديث النبوي في التقعيد النحوي عند الآثاري دراسة تحليلية)، إلى كشف اللثام عن منهج عالم جليل وبيان موقفه من قضية الاستدلال بحديث النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) في قواعد النحو العربي، من خلال ألفيته الموسومة بـ(كفاية الغلام في إعراب الكلام)، وشرحه عليها الموسوم بـ (الهداية في شرح الكفاية)، ذلكم العلامة زين الدين شعبان الآثاري (٧٦٥ه- ٨٢٨ه). كما يهدف البحث -إضافة إلى ما سبق- إلى تسليط الضوء على مكانته، وجهوده، وسبر أغوار شخصيته، وكشف أسباب عدم شهرة ألفيته، وكَنِّ صيته، وكذلك التأكيد -من خلال بيان موقف النحاة من الاحتجاج بالحديث في النحو وعرض الأدلة والردود عليها وما تم التوصل إليه من نتائج- على العلاقة الوثيقة بين الحديث النبوي والتقعيد النحوي، كون السنة المشرفة أصلاً من أصول السماع المحتج به في العربية وفنونها. ويقصد البحث دعوة الباحثين والدارسين إلى الخروج عن الدوران في فلك الشخصيات التي أصبح البحث حول مصنّفاتها، وبيان جهودها، وتناول آرائها بالشرح والتعليق والتقرير والحواشي كأنه كلامٌ مردّد مكرورٌ، وأن يولوا وجوههم قبل آخرين ممن غمرتهم الأيام وقل حظهم من الشهرة والذيوع لعلهم يجدوا فيما تركوه من علم وما خلفوه من فنون وآداب ما يكون إضافة وثراء للمكتبة العربية وخدمة للغة الدّين، وأخذاً بالعقول إلى حقول جديدة من المعارف والفكر القويم.

This research seeks to unveil the approach of a great grammarian and his position on the issue of inferring Arabic grammar from the speech of the Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) through his book titled “kifaiat al-gholam fee iaarab al-kaalm” (Adequacy of a Lad in inferring Syntax of Speech), and a supplementary to it titled “Al-hidaia fee sharh al-kifaia” (The Guidance in Explaining the Adequacy). The esteemed scholar being referenced here is none other than Zainuddin Shaaban Al-athari (765H-828H).This research- in addition to the above- is to shed light on this grammarian's status as a great scholar and his great contribution by exploring the depths of his personality, and to reveal the reasons why- despite his status- his writings are not widely known nor circulated. The study also aims to emphasize his position in using the Hadith to infer grammar, the arguments he presents, the critiques levelled against them, and his conclusions. Foremost of these conclusions are the close relationship between Hadith and Arabic grammar, as the honorable Sunnah is one of the main sources of the oral tradition that is invoked in classical Arabic literature and arts. This work intends to invite researchers and scholars to move out of an apparently closed circle that orbits around a limited group of authors, expounding on their efforts and addressing their views, in these researchers’ various studies, commentary, and footnotes that have become rather repetitive and constraining in perspective. It is high time that their attention be drawn to less circulated works unfortunately forgotten with time, therefore fetched much less fame. The hope is that these researchers might find in this great man’s writings knowledge that can add to the Arabic libraries great works and a service to the language of [the Islamic] religion, and guidance to new fields of knowledge and righteousness.
