|a يعنى هذا البحث بعرض سيرة ذاتية لأستاذ النحو والصرف في جامعة الإمام أ.د. عبد الله الخثران، من خلال عرض معلومات عن مولده ونشأته وتعليمه وأعماله، حتى وفاته رحمه الله، وما كُتب عنه من تأبين ورثاء، وسماته وصفاته. ثم عرض لمسيرته العلمية المتمثلة في كتبه وبحوثه التي وصلت إلى عشرة أعمال علمية، مع عرض مشاركاته العلمية الأخرى. وقد توصل هذا البحث إلى ريادته في العمل الأكاديمي بالجامعات السعودية، وتأثيره في طلبته وزملائه من خلال الموضوعات البحثية التي يعنى بها، ويدعو إلى الكتابة عنها.
|b This paper deals with the life and legacy of Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hamad Al-Khathran, Professor of Arabic grammar at al-Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University. Attention is given to his birth and upbringing, his education and his works, until his death, as well as eulogies and elegies composed in his honor. His characteristics and qualities. This is followed by a presentation of his scholarly legacy, his books and articles, a total of ten scholarly works, as well as his other academic contributions. Through this article, it will be seen that Prof. Al-Khathran was one of the pioneers in academic life in Saudi universities, as also by his influence on his students and colleagues, which can be clearly seen in the scholarly topics he was concerned with, and which he encouraged others to research.
