المستخلص: ظهرت الهجرة منذ التاريخ القديم والمعاصر، على أشكال مختلفة ولأسباب متعددة، واتجهت الهجرات إلى شمال أفريقيا وغرب وسط أوروبا ومنها إلى الشرق الأوسط، ولم تقتصر الهجرة على عصور ما قبل التاريخ، بل حدثت أبان التاريخ ذاته مثل الهجرة العربية المتجهة إلى شمال أفريقيا وأوروبا. كما أن الكشوف الجغرافية فتحت أبواب الهجرة على مصراعيها أمام الأمم الأوروبية، ويلاحظ أن الهند مورد رئيسي لهجرات العمال في كثير من الدول الأوروبية والآسيوية، وتطور الأمر وزادت الهجرات مع هبوط معدلات النمو الاقتصادي في قرى الدول النامية مما جعلها طاردة على شكل مجموعات من الأفراد مهاجرة بشكل شرعي أو غير شرعي وتعاني الدول المستقبلة من مشكلات نظير هذا الزحف الذي يؤثر على برامج التنمية في هذه البلاد. وقد فسرت النظريات الاجتماعية هذه الهجرات من وجهات نظر مختلفة، وفقا لظروف كل مجتمع، ويرجع تاريخ التفسيرات النظرية إلى حقبة قديمة جدا، عندما اقترح "رافنسيتن" قوانينه للهجرة ثم بعده "لي"، ومن ثم ازدادت الأفكار والنظريات لكي تفسر طبيعة ودوافع ومشكلات الهجرات سواء أكانت دولية أو محلية في فترات تاريخية سابقة كانت ظروفها تختلف بشكل واضح عن الظروف الراهنة.

Migration has appeared since ancient and contemporary history, in different forms and for multiple reasons. Migrations headed to North Africa and Western Central Europe and from there to the Middle East. Migration was not limited to prehistoric times, but rather occurred during the same history, such as the Arab migration heading to North Africa and Europe. Geographical discoveries also opened the doors of immigration wide to European nations, and it is noted that India is a major source of labor migration in many European and Asian countries. The matter developed and migration increased with the decline in economic growth rates in the villages of developing countries, which made it repulsive in the form of groups of individuals migrating on a regular basis. Illegitimate or illegitimate, the receiving countries suffer from problems due to this encroachment, which affects the development programs in these countries. Social theories have interpreted these migrations from different points of view, according to the circumstances of each society. The history of theoretical interpretations goes back to a very ancient era, when “Ravenstown” proposed his laws for migration, then “Lee”, and then ideas and theories increased in order to explain the nature, motives, and problems of migrations, whether Whether it was international or local in previous historical periods whose circumstances were clearly different from current circumstances.
