المستخلص: تتمثل أهمية موضوع البحث في دراسة إمكانية إقامة تنمية مستدامة بالمنطقة لتوفير كل ما تحتاجه الأجيال الحالية دون التعدي على فرص حصول الأجيال القادمة على كافة متطلباتهم، وتتضح تلك التنمية في تحقيق أهداف اقتصادية واجتماعية بشكل مستمر، وتتركز الإشكالية في ضرورة أن يتصف الاستخدام الحالي لموارد البيئة بالموضوعية وعدم الإسراف للحفاظ على تلك الموارد للمستقبل حتى لا تتعرض تلك الموارد للتدهور والفناء، وقد تم دراسة المنطقة من عديد من الجوانب الطبيعية مثل الجوانب: الجيولوجية، والمورفومترية، والتضاريسية، والمناخية، والهيدرولوجية لتحديد المواضع المثالية للتنمية المستدامة، وتحديد درجات ملائمتها للمعايير المقترحة بما يتناسب مع المحددات الجيومورفولوجية للمنطقة، وقد تم تحديد مواضع الأخطار الجيومورفولوجية، ومدى تأثير تلك الأخطار على التنمية المستدامة بالمنطقة، والتي يتمثل أبرزها في الجريان السيلي وأماكن حدوثه، لتجنب مواضع تلك الأخطار ومراعاتها في خريطة التنمية المستدامة لمنطقة الدراسة، ورصد المحددات الجيومورفولوجية للتنمية في المنطقة بجانب المقومات الخاصة بها، وقد تم تقسيم المنطقة إلى مجموعة من الأقسام المناطق الأنسب للتنمية والمناطق المتوسطة للتنمية والمناطق المستبعدة من التنمية، والمناطق المستبعدة جدا من التنمية.

The importance of the research topic is to study the possibility of establishing sustainable development in the region to provide everything that current generations need without infringing on the opportunities for future generations to obtain all their requirements. This development is evident in the continuous achievement of economic and social goals, and the problem centers on the need for the current use of environmental resources to be characterized by objectivity. And not to waste money in order to preserve these resources for the future so that these resources are not exposed to deterioration and extinction. The region has been studied from many natural aspects, such as: geological, morphometric, topographic, climatic, and hydrological aspects to determine the ideal locations for sustainable development, and determine the degrees of their suitability to the proposed standards in proportion to Geomorphological Controls of the region. The locations of geomorphological hazards have been identified, and the extent of the impact of these hazards on sustainable development in the region, the most prominent of which is torrential flow and the places of its occurrence, in order to avoid the locations of these hazards and take them into account in the sustainable development map of the study area, and to monitor the geomorphological determinants of development in the region along with the special components. In it, the region has been divided into a group of sections: areas most suitable for development, intermediate areas for development, areas excluded from development, and areas very excluded from development.
