المستخلص: The world is witnessing an increase in the use of electronic devices of various types, traditional or new, which has raised many concerns about the impact of these devices on the various cognitive, health, interactive, communication and psychological aspects of children. Despite the few advantages of using electronic devices in early childhood, there are many positives to these devices, especially when used at a specific time and accompanied by parents. Excessive use of electronic devices by children leads to a group of problems, which include decreased interaction and communication with the environment, the emergence of anxiety and depression, sleep disorders, poor academic achievement, and other imbalances. A group of centers and associations issued recommendations on how to use these devices by children in an attempt to reduce the side effects caused by excessive use of these devices. In this article, we will contribute to highlighting the effects of electronic devices on children.
