|a مع انشغال العالم بالغزو الروسي لأوكرانيا وما استتبعه ذلك من عقوبات اقتصادية على روسيا وأزمة عالمية في الغذاء والمتمثل في وقف تصدير الحبوب من روسيا وأوكرانيا للعالم وكذلك أزمة ارتفاع أسعار النفط، لم يدرك العالم إلى احتمال أن يكون أول ضحايا تلك الأزمة، ولقد استغلت جماعات الجريمة المنظمة تلك الأزمات العالمية من اجل توسيع نطاق أعمالها غير المشروعة مع أقرانها في قارات العالم الست، حيث شهد العالم أنماط من الجرائم من خلال الاتجار بالبشر وتهريب السلاح ونقل المهاجرين بطرق غير شرعية عبر البحر والبر والجو وغيرها من الجرائم وبحرفية عالية بالرجوع إلى خلفية الصراع بين روسيا وأكرانيا، نجد أنه نشأ بعد انفصال أوكرانيا عن روسيا عام ۱۹۹۱، وتصاعد هذا الصراع عام ۲۰۰٤ مع اعتماد روسيا على مجموعة من المسلحين، إلا أن هذا التوتر السياسي بين روسيا وأكرانيا قد بلغ ذروته عام ۲۰۱۳، وعلى أثره قامت روسيا بضم شبه جزيرة القرم في مارس ٢٠١٤، ومنذ ذلك الحين عملت روسيا على تغذية الصراع في الجزء الشرقي من أوكرانيا، وتغذية النزعة الانفصالية هناك.
|b Being preoccupied with the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ensuing economic sanctions on Russia, with the global food crisis, which led to stopping the export of grain from Russia and Ukraine, as well as with the crisis of high oil prices, the world did not realize that it might be the first victim of that crisis. Organized crime groups took advantage of these global crises in order to expand the scope of their illegal business with their peers in the six continents of the world, where the world witnessed such crimes as human trafficking, arms smuggling, and the transportation of immigrants illegally by sea, land, and air, in addition to other crimes committed with high professionalism. Going back to the background of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, we find that it arose after Ukraine’s secession from Russia in 1991. This conflict escalated in 2004 with Russia’s reliance on a group of militants, but this political tension reached its climax in 2013 when Russia annexed Crimea in March 2014. Since then, Russia has fueled separatism and conflict in the eastern part of Ukraine.
