المستخلص: تحاول هذه الدراسة قراءة بعض النصوص الشعرية لشاعرين عاشا في العصر الجاهلي، هما: (عمرو بن كلثوم، وزهير بن أبي سلمى)، ثم تحليلها، واستكناه جوهرها، وسبر أغوارها؛ بهدف الكشف عن الاتجاهات الشعرية التي ينطوي عليها شعرهما، وفق توجهاتهما ونزعاتهما المختلفة، إضافة إلى التعرف على فكر عمر بن كلثوم، وزهير بن أبي سلمى، ورؤيتهما الفنية، وهذا يقتضي الوقوف على بعض من شعرهم، ومن هنا جاء اختياري لمعلقة عمر بن كلثوم، ومعلقة زهير بن أبي سلمى؛ لاستكناه ما في هاتين المعلقتين من موضوعات، ومعان، ودلالات متعددة، كانت تلح على الذات الشاعرة، فلعل ولوج هذه النافذة يمهد السبيل إلى معرفة القيم الفنية والجمالية التي تنطوي عليها رؤى الشاعرين وفكرهما. وقد اقتضت طبيعة البحث أن يخرج في مقدمة، وثلاثة مباحث الأول منها الشعرية في معلقة عمر بن كلثوم. والثاني: الشعرية في معلقة زهير بن أبي سلمى، وقد بدأت كل مبحث بتمهيد للمعلقة، ثم الولوج إلى المعلقة مباشرة، والثالث مقارنة بين عمر بن كلثوم وزهير بن أبي سلمى. ثم توصلت إلى خاتمة تحوي أهم النتائج، يليها فهرس بالمصادر والمراجع.

Significantly enough, this study aims to examine some the poetic works of two pre-Islamic poets' namely: Amro ibn Kulthum and Zuhayr ibn Abi Sulma. Simply put, it seeks to analyze their poetry, uncover its essence, and delve into its depths, with the goal of revealing the poetic trends reflected in their poems, according to their distinct orientations and inclinations. To add, it aspires to grasp the thoughts and artistic visions of Amro ibn Kulthum and Zuhayr ibn Abi Sulma. In this context, this necessitates a rumination of selected pieces of their poetry, which is why I have chosen the Mu'allaqa (is a term used to describe a collection of seven long poems) of Amro ibn Kulthum and the Mu'allaqa of Zuhayr ibn Abi Sulma. Through this exploration, I investigate thoroughly to uncover the themes, meanings, and various connotations which resonate within the poet's self. Additionally, this approach may pave the way for a deeper understanding of the artistic and aesthetic values inherent in the visions and thoughts of these two poets. The nature of the research necessitated an introduction and three investigative approaches, the first of which is: the poetry in the Mu'allaqa of Imru' al-Qais. The second: the poetry in the Mu'allaqa of Zuhayr ibn Abi Sulma, with each section beginning with an introduction to the Mu'allaqa, followed by a direct engagement with the Mu'allaqa itself. The third investigative approach: a comparison between Imru' al-Qais and Zuhayr ibn Abi Sulma. To conclude, I then reached a conclusion containing the findings of paramount importance, followed by a bibliography of sources and references.
