|a يتميز النظام المؤسساتي لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة بطابع نسقي يتكون من أجهزة رئيسية وأخرى تابعة كما يضم عددا من المؤسسات والبرامج واللجن والمهام والصناديق تتقاطع في اختصاصها وتتباعد في تنسيقها. هذا الهيكل التنظيمي الذي يعكس انشغالات سياسية ووظيفية حيث ترتب عنها ضرورة خلق أجهزة تتولى القيام بمهام ووظائف معينة في مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة والأمانة العامة والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ومجلس الوصاية ومحكمة العدل الدولية وعائلته كبرى من الأجهزة هذه الأجهزة التي سعت إلى إيجاد توازنات سياسية ممكنة لضمان سير المنظمة.
|b The institutional system of the United Nations is characterized by its systematic nature, composed of principal and subordinate bodies. It also comprises a number of institutions, programs, committees, tasks and funds, which overlap in their competence and diverge in their coordination. This organizational structure reflects political and functional concerns, which have led to the need to create bodies responsible for certain tasks and functions within the Security Council, the General Assembly, the General Secretariat, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council and the International Court of Justice and its large family of bodies. These bodies sought to strike a political balance to ensure the organization's smooth running.
